Class apart! Cappuccino is great but Sicilian Pistachio is greatest

I 've been coming here with my family and friends for years. Lately, I 've had a number of interactions with their immature staff. The owner really needs to be more invested in monitoring his staff. They are young, inexperienced and outright rude. Was there on the evening of August 31, 2023 with my young family. The girl taking the order was having real issues remembering our order and repeatedly asking my wife and I for the order. When it was time for me to pick up the order those of us who ordered two scoops were downgraded to 1 scoop. I stated that we paid for two scoops because when we made them two scoops the girl taking the order raised the price. Also, we always make the same order so we know that the price we paid included two scoops. The issue was that frequently this location has issues with their Interac and it goes to cash only and regularly happens on busy days. The girl used a calculator too and did not use the till (I 'm certain they faithfully declare it to CRA). But because of this there was no receipt. The two males were rather rude and did not honour the order and only gave two scoops. So we were short changed. One of them rudely declared You paid for one scoop only and that 's all your getting, you need to get over it buddy. Fortunately there are options at Mt. Pleasant, Sweetie PIe is steps away and has delicious Kirwartha ice cream with interesting flavours, and Diperie is going to get some visits too on the same street as is the Chocolate Messenger!

The ice cream at this place is truly top-notch. I opted for the rocher flavor and was pleasantly surprised to discover real almond pieces within it. However, it's worth noting that they exclusively accept cash or debit payments, and during the summer months, there can be quite a lengthy queue.
