Happy Sushi - Toronto

Great rolls and Sashimi patter! Ordered a variety of rolls and I couldn't pick a favourite. Came with tons of salad and rice!

I have visited there many times - 6 or so booth style tables so dine in or take out (order ahead). This is a neighborhood standby regular restaurant for us. Excellent, fresh, and nicely prepared/presented. Excellent friendly service and is a moderately lit, comfortable place to dine solo, couple or group. All the dishes are excellent. Great value. I recommend the sashimi and the bento boxes. I just love the place. Recommended.

I go to Happy Sushi at least a couple of times a month and it is, in my opinion, by far the best and most authentic Japanese restaurant on the Danforth.Their vegetarian options are spectacular, I don't do sushi (although most of the people that accompany do and say it is fantastic) but they have a range to suit all tastes.Try the Crispy Red Bean rolls if you want something a little different but awesome.Good beer and saki selection, the chef is great and creates a great atmosphere.

Happy friendly wait staff with wooden benches and a large variety of Japanese food. Wine is questionable but cheap and the food is great, Certainly a favorite spot in the Woodbine/Danforth hood.

My family have been eating here for the past five years and we've never had a disappointing meal. We usually order delivery but have eaten in the dining room many times. The sushi is good, the skill level of the sushi chef is okay, but the tastiness of the fish is what keeps us coming back. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. I am very happy that they are in the neighbourhood to satisfy our frequent sushi cravings.
