This restaurant is underrated and located in a difficult place to find. The service is excellent and the food is of high quality- I tried the gimbap and beef noodle dish. I will definitely be returning for more.
Ordered take out and the service was quick and friendly. Will come again!
Food has been consistently good for us. I like the homemade kimchi, and I often get the bulgogi or the chapchae noodles. Lunch specials are available all day and are a slightly smaller portion at a really economical price (student friendly! . Service is prompt and polite calm environment.
Korean Fix in Baldwin. As many people know, it is hard to find Korean food closer to the downtown core and this place is one of the few places that serve up authentic Korean fare that hasn't been jazzed up. It is tucked away in Baldwin Village downstairs and can be easy to miss as it is overshadowed by its upstairs neighbour a Korean-Japanese restaurant with large flashy signs.<br/ <br/ The restaurant itself seems to be family run with the husband serving and working the cash register and the wife cooking in the back. When I went we only ordered the bibimbap so it is hard to have a full review of the restaurant as the Gamjatan is their specialty. Their bibimbap was relatively good, however one problem I had was that the rice was served separately from the clay pot and therefore was unable to get to a good level of crispiness.<br/ <br/ Overall, if you are craving Korean food, Hana Korea or the Owl in Chinatown are your best bets.
