Hamish Kitchen Restaurant - Toronto

So this was my favorite fish and chips earlier, and I'm okay that the fish share has become smaller, but they have no more fresh cut pommes game changer I won't be back, and they were overwhelmed and totally unorganized I couldn't. through the phone to preorder so went in person and it took minutes- a little hard to social distance but everyone kept their room as much as possible!

My friend had a craving for some English Fish and Chips and Hamish had been recommended. She described it as cheap and cheerful but great fish and chips Yes on all counts. Though the staff is Chinese, the food is all British cuisine. The halibut...is lightly breaded and portions are generous. I had my fish grilled and the Greek salad was fresh and served with aplomb. Great place for fun lunch or dinner and near movie theatre at Eglnton Square.

I have been back to this restaurant many times. I love the boneless chicken breast with fries and gravy. The fish is the best in Toronto.

Found the fish was very greasy .. Mushy peas were ok Not sure why they don't use homemade tartar.. Might try it again...but...

We used to go to Hamish when it was on Pharmacy. This new place is much larger and there is much more parking available. Food was good but we didn't think as good as it once was.
