My sister and I were planning for our Parents' 50th Wedding Anniversary and our dad's 70th Birthday which land on the same day - July 22nd, 2017. Months ago, we found Golden Lion via Google and read a majority of positive reviews from others. On behalf of my sister and entire family - I would like to add the BIGGEST positive review for Golden Lion as described below!Back in March 2017, we visited Golden Lion for the first time and met with Andy. He showed us the banquet area, menu items, and discussed many other details. I had made it clear to him that this was our Parents' 50th Anniversary and we did not any issues to arise that would make our parents' feel uncomfortable and somewhat unwelcome. He assured us this would not happen and that we would be pleased and invited us to come back on a Saturday evening to check out the live band and experience at hand. So, we did come back in early June 2017 and met with Andrew. He showed us the live entertainment in action and discussed further details with us. Both Andy and Andrew wrote down all the specific details that we requested during our 2 initial visits. They were so polite, serious, and professional but, most importantly, they LISTENED! Most people nowadays don't take the time and effort to do a simple thing like listening (because most people don't care) - but not these 2 gentlemen - they were absolutely great in all aspects! The dotted all their i"s and crossed all their t"s! They cared so much to make this a PERFECT and SPECIAL night for our parents! We can't thank them enough - true class individuals!The food menu was exactly how we wanted it and it was so delicious! Ukrainian and Polish food at its best! The live band made NUMEROUS announcements for our parents' anniversary and dad's birthday! They played and sung so beautifully (especially "Happy Birthday" to him)! Our dad, especially, danced so much and had so much fun doing so! Our mom, who is disabled, also went on the dance floor with her scooter - the staff at Golden Lion made every effort to accommodate her! WE HAD LOST COUNT ON THE NUMBER OF TIMES OUR PARENTS CRIED BECAUSE OF TOTAL JOY AND HAPPINESS THEY EXPERIENCED AT GOLDEN LION! This was a total meaningful and priceless experience!And now for our WONDERFUL waitress - Inna. We have never before seen a more dedicated, hard working, caring, and polite waitress and overall person! She tended to our table with such professionalism - yet she treated us as if we were a part of her own family. During the evening, we asked her so many questions and she always took the time and patience to answer us every time. There will never be enough thankful words and feelings in order to express our true and total gratitude to Inna! Even during the drive home, our parents could not stop talking about how wonderful Inna made their 50th Anniversary and 70th Birthday celebration so special! She totally deserves this recognition as she was so carefully attending to our family the entire night! A true angel from Heaven for sure.Near the end of this special night, I pulled Inna aside and personally thanked her for her totally excellent service! I then knocked on the office door and personally thanked both Andy and Andrew for all that they did for us! I promised to them that I would type a review on the Internet and here it is! I also told them how pleased we were with Inna and everything she did for us.To all the staff that made our Parents' 50th Wedding Anniversary and Dad's 70th Birthday a true success - our entire family is so grateful for your hard work, caring attitude, and professionalism! As I told them in person, this evening experience was "totally beyond our expectations"! A 5 star review is simply not enough for Golden Lion Bar

We dropped in on a Saturday afternoon for a dinner. The food was delicious and prepared pretty quick. The steak was amazing! Down just as requested and full of flavour. The staff are as always very welcoming and really do take care to make sure you have everything you need to have a good dinner. What we love most about this place is that there is tons of place for our kids to run around! Definitely a family oriented establishment.

I highly recommend this place! I threw a surprise birthday party for my husband. My husband and the guests loved it! The owner, Andy, and the staff are extremely organized and professional! The hall is very beautiful and the dance floor is a perfect size! Everything was set up so elegantly! The food was amazing! The service was so outstanding so it exceeded all my expectations! I also received very good comments from my guests! Overall, Im very satisfied with this place!

We had our wedding reception at Golden Lion in November and everything was beyond wonderful. Restaurant has a beautiful and elegant design that suited perfectly with the atmosphere of the wedding. Food was top notch and there were plenty of it, servers were attentive and very helpful.Professional event managers went above and beyond to make our day completely stress free.We strongly recommend this venue as the music, service and food was absolutely fantastic!
