Located in a strip mall, the place is very small. We were the only ones dining in at 7 p.m., and I confirmed whether they would serve dinner. We were encouraged to order dim sum, but were told we could order off the menu. Ambience in restaurant was very dim inside. While we were there, we saw delivery drivers come in to pick up orders.Since hubby and I like spicy food, we ordered a garlic chicken stir fry, red curry beef, and chili shrimp and chicken fried rice. We asked if the garlic chicken could be made spicy but were told that would ruin the flavour of the dish, so we went with their recommendation. Server brought water over no offer to order a drink or pop. The food was pretty bland even the spicy dishes. Also even though the dishes mentioned eggplant as part of the stir fry (one of my faves , the veggies in the dishes were broccoli, some sprouts and potatoes. The red curry had a few pieces of cauliflower, but no eggplant in any of the dishes, which was a huge disappointment (standard Thai curry fare? .Portions were okay, prices were okay, but unfortunately we did not like the taste. The rice had a sour taste to it. Not returning.
Very, very good food. Dim som was excellent. Huge portions and great flavors.
Rude and arrogant lady. you don't deserve more than 1 star!
I recommend their dim sum if you live in Etobicoke. I also tried their Wonton soup which was good. The food was excellent; they did a good job in the kitchen. If only they did a little better with being more welcoming to customers. They are a bit understaffed, so it would have been great if they had a separate person dedicated to dine-in customers. It feels like they are primarily geared for take-out orders.
Tried their chicken steamed dumplings and custard bao, both were absolutely delicious ?
