Przekaż informację zwrotnąThree months ago, we had breakfast for the first time here; I gave the restaurant five "bubbles" because everything was excellent. But when we had breakfast here a second time, we could not believe how poor the experience was.We had breakfast on the Sunday of a long weekend; our poor server looked exhausted and frazzled. She confided that many employees had failed to show up for work and the restaurant was operating with half of the usual number of servers. She tried her best and we tipped her well, but service was not good. (For example, we had our meals for a good five minutes before she brought us cutlery). The meals themselves were sad. My husband's chicken and waffle (yes, waffle in the singular) were especially pathetic; three small, overcooked chicken strips on one sad waffle of supermarket freezer quality. Plates that had fruit on them in the menu pics came unadorned with fruit and the meals themselves were lacking both in taste and presentation. And though I know well that soups are notoriously high in salt, my "home-made" soup was so salty that I could not finish it.We will not be going back.
Very good food and friends and friendly service. A bit warm inside and a little noisy but to be expected Ina place with an open kitchen. Hurricane skillet was great but too much for 1 person. If we ever come back to this area we will certainly come back. Chicken panini was breaded but edible.
I absolutely love this place. My wife and I visit as often as possible. It's well worth the 25 minute drive!Being English, I love the concept of "American Diners" with hearty food and good coffee. I have never had an issue with the food here (and my wife can be quite picky sometimes!)I usually go for the same thing- weston omelette with bacon and coffee. My wife loves it here because they have a non-meat option with the eggs, rather than just having no meat. They give you the option to have grilled veggies with your meal. There is a woman who works there, I really need to get her name. Small, skinny lady with blonde hair and cool tattoos. Anyway, if you get her serving you she is an absolute gem! Extremely friendly and we always leave with a smile!Coffee is decent, portions are big. Prices aren't too bad at all. Yes, you can go for breakfast cheaper, but why would you?We usually go during the week around 1pm and it can be pretty quiet. But last sunday 6 of us went at about 12.30 and it was bouncing! We were lucky that we got a table quickly! I definitely recommend this place for sure!
Popped in for a late breakfast on Sat,was busy but we only stood for a minute or two before we had our seat. Everyone was working hard to get eals to guests and I counted 24 seconds from the guest leaving to table being prepped for next guest
Admittedly, breakfast is pretty straight-forward and difficult to mess up, although I have seen it done. But this was the best breakfast I have had in a long, long time. Excellent coffee and I was asked many times if I wanted a top up. My chicken soup was delicious and came in a huge bowl; had I know how much soup I would get I would have ordered a lighter main. My wester omelette was substantial and tasty, the potatoes were great and more than I could eat (my mother said the potatoes were the best she has had) and all four of us really enjoyed our meals. Service was very attentive and pleasant and the prices were incredibly reasonable for the size of the portions. Our new go-to breakfast place.
