Very disappointing and pathetic serviceWe decided to have a friends get togather and chose Donatello Restuarant for some good italian food.
This place was adorable Truly Such excellent service and we took every recommendation of our server and the pasta was out of this world.
We loved this quaint little Italian restaurant tucked in a old home on Elm Street. Our party of 2 ate indoors at a table rugt by the window so we could watch the world go by. The location is very convenient if going to the Ed Mirvish or Pantages theatres as it's just off Yonge St across from the Eaton's Center. The Vitello Picata (veal) was the best I have had anywhere and my wife also raved about her chicken dish. The staff was very accomodating, we ordered a French wine, but they didn't have it in stock, so the waiter recommended another bottle that was more expensive, but said he would match the price to make sure we had a great wine to go with our meal. Fantastic and very reasonably priced. We will be back.
This little restaurant is in a renovated old home around the corner from the Eaton Centre. We had dinner on the second floor patio on a beautiful August night and were enchanted. The dinner was relaxed so we did not mind the somewhat slow service. We all had pasta and every dish was wonderful. The kitchen let me completely change my pasta dish to lower the calories and avoid pork - and it was delicious! The salads were made with local vegetables and the wine prices were reasonable. The bread was crunchy and fresh. Delicious dinner!
