Desotos - Toronto

This restaurant is a classic favorite of mine! You have to try the Penne A La Vodka - it's bursting with flavor and so satisfying. Absolutely delicious!

We have been eating here for many years. these days are over now. since covid this restaurant is steadily downhill. at our last visit we were tired, it took 15 minutes to get a server to take our order, and if they did, they told us it would take an hour to prepare our food. an hour hamburger? we left. the last 2 times we went to desotos were also terrible service experiences with long waiting times for service and eating. avoid this restaurant, especially if they have hunger or have children with them.

For the first time my partner and I had dinner. he ordered the ribs with fries and I had a cäsarsalat with the grilled calamari. his teller was cold, pommes must have sat one because and the ribs were dry, hard to swallow. my calamari was good, very tasty, but my caesar salat was room temperature and spoiled. the beer we had was not cold. we didn't complain, we just did the best. Pity, we hoped that we found a great little neighboring place for our dinner nights out. we will not return.

We shouldn't go in here, but so glad we made it! the food was delicious and well seasoned. I ordered her penne a la wodka while my partner had ripened. the pasta was so creamy and the part was huge. I could eat half. I also had some ribs and they were so good and tender! the server was really friendly and friendly. they love to eat their terrace.

Beautiful experience, but a bit plus took, was not at the table, but they ended up strong.
