Though the shop is small and seating is limited, they have a huge area that is definitely worth checking out. I would definitely recommend others to visit here.
While visiting Toronto this week for work, I decided to give this place a try. I noticed their signboard outside advertising their superpowered coffee and decided to order a big dark roast along with a butter croissant for three days straight. This little routine instantly brightened my day and I could tell that their coffee and baked goods were made with care and intention. I am thankful for the opportunity to experience this gem during my time in Toronto.
We absolutely adore this place! We recently ordered custom coffee bags for a small, informal gathering last month and we were blown away by the response we received. Many of our guests raved about the unique favors and were eager to try the coffee. The ordering process was easy and seamless. We highly recommend ordering custom favors for any special event.
This is a small, cozy coffee shop that has a nice mood when they go into. the personal is friendly and will give them detailed answers to ask everyone they might have. they offered a cold coffee on the menu that I did not try before and was not sure what it was. the barista was very friendly and beautiful to offer me a small sample before buying. for beginners coffee drinkers they are very helpful to recommend something they like. they also make everything fresh to order so during the busy times, this could take a little longer, but it is all worth a fresh and hot coffee. there are tables and chairs throughout the business, so it would be a perfect place to look for something to do, to be on their computer or even to catch up with their friends. they also sell coffee beans and other items in the house, so if they really enjoy the beans, they can definitely buy some for home use. I would say that this is one of my favorite coffee shops and definitely returns for coffee when I am ever in the opposite. highly recommended to check this place for coffee when it is in the opposite!
A disappointing flagship considering how much De Mello beans are seen across Toronto cafes. The drinks don't have the quality to match their high reputation despite the premium pricing, more expensive than other third wave coffee shops in the city. The quality is inconsistent depending on staff (so this may be an unfair criticism across the board), but the milk is usually too hot and the texture too unrefined, while espresso pulls can be far too bitter than pleasant. The customer service is always great, I love the apron I have from there, and it's still the only option I'd go for on Yonge north of Eglinton.
