If you are looking for excellent Japanse food Daio Japanese Cuisine is the place to go. Eating their food will make you feel as thou you are back in Japan.

I was not super-lucky, as I went there for dinner but they had only the sushi bar working. Despite that, the waitress worked to bring us some tempura and edamame - which was really appreciated.They have really interesting types of sushi, and all the dishes are carefully prepared by their chef. The food quality is solid, as well as the service. Just keep in mind it's not cheap (50 CAD/each average,) but what you eat is absolutely worth the price.

That this meal comes into my best memories of Japanese restaurant. Once the fears of the catcher-tourist have passed, sit down and relax in this authentic Japanese restaurant with its varied and freshly cooked dishes. located in the city center, if you like Japanese, you have to try this place! arigato daio!

Was stay win the area and needed a light meal before dinner. Figured sushi would be perfect and Daio got solid TA reviews. The server was very friendly. She helped answer any questions we had. The dynamite roll was good and so was the spices salmon. They don't use any mayo in their spicey rolls. Price is typical for sushi. Cool decor if you get one of the rooms.

Every time I come here it's fantastic. Sushi is like eating butter, so smooth and cold. Sushi B is my go-to but I bet you couldn't go wrong with any of the other options. It's a small place, pretty cozy, and the staff are very nice. You are paying for really good quality sushi.
