I struggled to rate this a 4 or 5 because the crispy beef dish wasn't great too sour and lacking balance but alas the fish curry and pad Kra pow were amazing! I would easily go back just for the fish curry. Crispy, flavourful and sooo satisfying.
Very happy to spot this tiny Thai restaurant with not so tiny menu with lots of vegetarian options and generous portions. Welcoming and quick service tasty food made this a worthwhile dining experience.
This is a nice and fantastic Thai restaurant! The atmosphere is nice, the ambiance is welcoming and the staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. The prices are reasonable, the food is tasty and fresh. I ordered the Green Curry with chicken and it was good! I also ordered friend rice with beef for my daughter and she was impressed. My son wanted the Pad Thai and he loved it. The restaurant is equipped with proper shields regarding COVID-19 regulation. Wish him best of luck. COVID-19 update: They're now open for dine-in. They also have a nice patio. #shoplocal #toronto #thaifoodtoronto #covid-19 #supportlocal
Oh my goodness! This restaurant is absolutely fantastic. The food was all delicious, with the Khao Soi standing out for its fragrant flavors and generous topping of crunchy fried egg noodles. It was so good that we completely forgot to take any pictures! Make sure to order a side of coconut rice to soak up all the extra gravy. The portions are very generous, so make sure to come with a big appetite. And don't forget to try the fried banana dessert - it's a must-have with real honey and a light, crispy coating that perfectly complements the sweet banana inside. This place is truly a hidden gem and we can't wait to come back!
I understand why this small Thai restaurant has such high ratings. I visited for a late lunch and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The server was delightful, attentive, and provided excellent recommendations. We enjoyed mixed appetizers, a Street Pad Thai (narrow noodles) and a Pad See Ew (wide noodles) with Chinese broccoli and beef. Both main dishes were delicious and generously portioned. The flavors were perfect and I can't get enough of their fragrant in-house roasted chili. The chicken satay in the appetizers was authentic and the vegetarian fresh spring roll was very fresh. There were also deep fried squid and taro cakes that I did not try. The restaurant is impeccably clean with only four tables, and the unique decor created a relaxing and unhurried dining experience. We took home the delicious leftovers! I believe you cannot go wrong with any of their noodle dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant.
