Canyon Creek - Scarborough - Toronto

The atmosphere is good. Service is good. Food is good. Nothing to complaint about. I would say everything is on average. The dish is very large, good for sharing. It's not an exciting restaurant, but it's good for casual dinner.

Dropped by on a whim for lunch as i remembered i had great coconut shrimp here. Unfortunately, their fryer was down and the couldnt do thatServer alicia helped a lot as I am diabetic and cannot have a large lunch..had 1/2 of the lunch special Prime Beef sandwich. It was excellent and with a few fries, just enough for me.I will be back!

After a shopping trip to the Scarborough shopping mall we paid an impromptu visit to Canyon Creek restaurant on the outskirts of the mall. The visit was extremely pleasant. The menu is varied. We had the special, starter, entree, dessert, priced right for our pocketbook; and delicious.

I love coming here for the avocado bacon salad and chicken tacos ! My absolute fav ! How can you beat 3/12$ tacos and a 9$ salad that's well worth it I promise ! Staff is always super friendly.

We recently had dinner at Canyon Creek with our teen daughters and elderly parents. Atmosphere was comfortable and our server was pleasant. My daughter ordered the beef stew and unfortunately, it tasted like it was full of dill; actually her words were "it tastes like a pickle." I tried it, and yup, she was right. I mentioned it to our server who brought over an assistant manager, who apologized and offered to replace it with something else. My daughter was not interested in anything else except a desert, which they comped her for. The rest of our meals were fine, except for the sweet potato with the rainbow trout which we found to be strangely spicy.After paying for our meal, I double checked the bill and realized we were double charged for one of the appetizers. My fault for not checking beforehand, but I brought it to the attention of our server, and another manager came over. He explained that it would be complicated to refund the charge, but offered a $25 gift certificate which was double than what we were overcharged. I was satisfied with the resolution, and even though our meal had a few bumps, the staff at Canyon Creek Scarborough were professional and cared enough to ensure that we had a great experience.
