I'm here in Toronto for business and the staff at the hotel recommended Bua Thai when I asked about a Thai restaurant close by. I've been to my fair share of Thai restaurants so I had some idea of what I was looking for on the menu. This restaurant dis not disappoint. The options were as I would have expected. I had the curry puffs (one of my favorite appetizers.) These were crispy, flaky, and tasty. They might have been in the fryer a little longer than I would have liked (a little too dark,) but that did not detract from the flavor. I had the Thai basil duck for my main course. This dish had just the right amount of spice and the aromatic basil flavor was just wonderful. The dish also came with the right amount (for me) of steamed rice proportionate to the duck. I only wish I were not stuffed so I could have had dessert.
The standard Thai dishes are done nicely but I've also had the chef's specials and been impressed. Interesting choices and great flavours. Service is quick and friendly.
Great friendly service and suggestions for food choices. Chiefs specials are worth ordering. Generous portion serving and very quick service.
This place is nice , service is so friendly and fast. Their food is good too but the pad thai is not the best, too big pieces of chicken . Their beef and spring rolls are good. Give it a try
