We were very happy to find that small but beautiful bar and restaurant in the heart of the Beaches neighbourhood of Toronto. The first person who hosted us was smiling and very welcoming... a good start! Then we could appreciate a varied menu at reasonable prices. There were also a very good choice of beers on tap, which we loved. My friend's steak was perfectly cooked and my goat cheese stuffed chicken was delicious. Moreover, the friendly atmosphere was very pleasant. During the summer, there is a beautiful patio... a good choice!
Just had a family party to celebrate a birthday. Private room upstairs was great. Excellent service, food and location. Would highly recommend holding events here!
We live in the Beaches and the Breakwall has become a favourite spot for our family of 5.... or for my wife and I when we want to go out in the neighbourhood. Recently we suggested to the parents and players of the girls field lacrosse team we should all go and sit upstairs. There is a pool table and television set for all of us to enjoy. It sits about 20 and feels like a private party ( best to phone in advance and see if it is busy ).
We were at the beach in Toronto and got a bit starving with two kids with us. At the beach there is a very limited food offer so we decided to go back on Queen street. As some other restaurants were closed we have chosen the Breakwall. From outside it looks like a beer pub but it is far more. The menu is limited but has enough for everyone. We had the rips, the classic burger, the chicken parmesan and the chicken supreme. All this was really first class prepared, nice vegetables/ salad as sides plus hand cut fries. We would definitely come again.
