Biff's Bistro - Toronto

This restaurant is a cozy spot that is perfect if you are going to a show or game nearby. I had a gift card for O&B and was able to make a reservation easily.

My large group of 14 people dined in a private room at this restaurant. The service was excellent, with friendly and efficient servers who even made us laugh.

This restaurant is always busy, with a sophisticated crowd dressed in suits and elegant attire. We tried the Duck and Pork Rillettes and the pate was excellent.

My lunch at Biff's to celebrate my birthday was wonderful. It was my first visit. I expected something small, in line with a bistro. This is considerably larger. I decided to eat in the dining room instead of in the bar. there is a beautiful atmosphere. ... The food was very good, though, in my humble opinion, the parrotella could have used a crushing of sauce to make it more taste. Drinks were delicious and potent. Service was fantastic. When we told our server that there was a long lunch, there was no effort to hurry.

Biff used to be a very good bistro restaurant, but after reprocessing it was a total disappointment. The food does not have the quality or fine of the past. The frits were boiled, hard and crushed. The beef in the burger was salted in part, which meant that the spices were not evenly distributed. The lemon tart did not seem very fresh and the Mascarpone accompaniment tasted like shrub cream cheese. Really, that didn't seem like a meal from a trained cook, but maybe a line cook? Although the food was disappointing, the service and attention remains, but at the end of the day you go to a restaurant to enjoy good cuisine.
