Brunch offers are now a fave for us....We hope this small but excellent place survives the pandemic!
It is a new restaurant in the st clair area. the food was delicious. server were great. on the other side was not dessert what I expected
The first time to be here and I would say that the service is absolutely fantastic. they are very attentive, although the restaurant is very packed on a Friday night. eating is absolutely delicious and delightful. they have different dishes from different countries and all. they are very appetizing for the palate. I would recommend trying the duck and the kinilaw. 10/10 I'd come back.
We went here with friends who had enjoyed it very much before, and did not seem as out of this time as we were, so thoughts can vary, but that is what is happy. one of our friends ordered the vegetable tagine they seemed to enjoy. I ordered one of the two off-menu specialties, the lammage I liked, and it came with rice and an excellent sauce. but my man and one of our friends ordered another special de-melt that came not rare but practically raw. we sent it back, and it came back to an edible level of rare (we had not asked how we wanted it done.) because it wasn't on the menu, we thought it would come with a kind of charcoal and/or calf, like everything else on the menu. no such luck; only a small piece of duck breast and a small sauce. not enough to share what our intention was. we mentioned our disappointment to the head cloth holder, who was obliged without additional fee, which corresponds to a single part of rice and vegetables that my man and his friend had to share. our friend had some of his wife too. the most important courses had all cost between 24 and 27 dollars, so we don't think we get worth money. it is a pity because we admire the politics of the restaurants, invite guests from torontos immigrant communities to cook various specialities each night.
Had a delicious dinner last night at Aviv on St. Clair Avenue West. Wonderful fresh seafood and vegetables, and a perfect Margarita. So glad that they have come to 779 St. Clair Avenue West. This restaurant also supports the Tarragon Theatre in the neighbourhood which...has the best independent Canadian theatre.
