Almond Butterfly Harbord Bakeshop Cafe

This restaurant is fantastic. I only wish they had more tables so that you could eat and drink your coffee comfortably, as the space is limited. However, when it comes to the food, I have nothing but excellent things to say. I have allergies to gluten, milk, and soy, but Almond Butterfly is the only place in the GTA where I can eat without worrying about my allergies. The food is delicious and unique, and you won't be disappointed.

The bakery options at this restaurant are absolutely delicious, and best of all, everything is gluten-free! The pastries stay fresh for 3-4 days at room temperature, and the breakfast bagels are particularly tasty. The only area that could use some improvement is the seating; there aren't enough seats available during breakfast hours.

This gluten-free bakery is excellent. The bagels, cupcakes, and muffins were incredibly delicious. The friendly staff and good coffee make it a perfect way to start the day. I only wish we had such high-quality products in Germany.

Dropped into the Harbord bakery today and was thrilled! The best gluten-conscious place in GTA! Unlike some reviews where people complain about petty things, they were fully in stock with EVERYTHING! The hard part makes a choice. I grabbed a few slats (made for perfection with my request for something hotter than standard, as well as their delicious protein balls and muffins, (extended the strawberry / chocolate and banana / blueberry. Absolutely amazing and almost all away from the time of this post! If you have a sweet tooth, and a palate for clean, natural ingredients that are perfectly balanced, this could not be for you. It is a shame that many people have sugar dependencies and Almond Butterfly cannot fully appreciate, but I swear really in this place and their creative delivery of healthy, gluten-conscious and amazing flavor combo food! Must try if you're in the area! Keep the wonderful work, visit the bistro next time! I love companies who understand that their craft is unjust and are aware of how to alleviate food waste, better sell instead of throwing food at the end of the day!

Beautiful. The staff were the kindest people I’ve ever met. My mom was recently diagnosed with Celiac disease. This has made it tremendously difficult to find GF alternatives that taste good and are affordable. My mom and I definitely have a sweet tooth, but we find it difficult to bake things that don’t contain gluten as the final product is usually dry and tasteless. Almond Butterfly, you did not only impress me with your lovely selection of delicious baked goods, you made me feel so welcomed and heard as I stumbled in and frantically tried to explain that it was my first time at this café and I didn’t know what to choose for my Mom. I unfortunately didn’t grab the name of gentleman who was helping me, but he walked me through choosing some of his favourite items that he thought my mom would like. It was so nice to bring home baked goods that she could actually eat and enjoy!! Thank you so much! I will be back soon. P.S. The cheesecake was amazing (I don’t think they always have it). It was soooo good. Also, their chocolate chip cookies are literally better than 95% of regular flour chocolate cookies. Love!!!
