Akai Sushi - Toronto

I ordered a fusion lobster roll, Sake, Maguro and Uni. The presentation and the fresh ingredients made the whole dinner just an outstanding epicurean experience worthy of any 5 star fine dining. I will be back!! See the pictures. The place is well decorated and the staff very friendly!! What are you waiting....run other thete!!!!! Food for the gods!!!

Akai Sushi is a small restaurant with excellent service and fresh, well-prepared food for a good price. The tables are quite private, but on the downside, would not handle a large crowd. Perfect for a quick lunch for a group of 2-4. I will be returning!

I inadvertently missed that there were only three reviews. So glad I did. The food is excellent tasty and they have a lot of unique rolls I have never had. Nice folks. I had a few different rolls. The volcano was amazing. The miso soup was even on the exceptional side. There is another Sushi restaurant just down the street I tried to go first which may be the best in town but they are booked weeks in advance. I feel this place is at the top of MOST very good sushi restaurants. I don't understand why only three reviews. I will return. So should you.

We love this place ! The sushi is the best we've had in Toronto and the ambiance is great !The service is also always really good and the food gets to you fairly quickly . We order both fish and vegetarian sushi and are never disappointed . For vegetarians , the veggie dragon roll is very good and I have yet to find something quite like it anywhere else (usually veggie sushi is pretty boring ). People tell me it's on the pricier side ..but it's definitely worth it !

Great sushis, makis, sashimis at a reasonable price. Seafood especially, Japanese, is usually pricey. Very good combos that have plenty of quality food for again a reasonable price. They also have great Ramen. I had the spicey seafood Ramen which was excellent.
