The food was amazing. The presentation of the food was very eye catching and appealing. The ambience and the whole experience was great. We ordered the paneer tikka starter and a New year sunrise drink which tasted really good. They also provided a complimentary amuse-bouche which was made of chickpea and tasted amazing. We also ordered naan, navaratan kurma and rasmalai for dessert. It was an authentic Indian taste.
Restaurant like this always surprises me! Came here when no one was here. I ordered their Onion Bhaji, chicken tikka masala with garlic naan. Fresh and flavorful! Would definitely recommend this place!
The best typical Indian place in Toronto I?d say. They have authentic taste of Indian dishes and they maintain the taste. We order Chana Masala, Garlic naan and butter paneer masala. Chana masala and garlic naan was ten out of ten and fully authentic. Butter paneer masala was bit sweeter although they told us before order about there recipe. Still it was good and can be recommended. They have awesome staff and service was so good. Manager Naman is so humble and we love the way he asked for the feedback and he actually mean it. Indian number make the ambiance full of end level vibe. Presentation of food 10/10 Must visit 1000% Update 11/Aug/22 One more visit at Aafrien for snacking and it was super amazing once again. Cru members are always cool their suggestions are always highly appreciated. This time we tried Paneer tikka and chicken 65. I ate chicken 65 from various places but this was totally different. Everything is perfect, chicken was well cooked no extra bundle masaalas and i love the thick gravy(not actually gravy but you know that part of chicken 65 ???? Paneer was extra soft but still in shape. As always the presentation of paneer tikka was originated from Other world ????. Waiting for our next visit now ????
One of the best Indian restaurants I've visited. I spent more than 5 years in Dubai and had been to dozens of Indian restaurants all over the Middle East but couldn't imagine that I find the best one in Toronto Midtown. Aafrien truly standouts. Amazing flavors, excellent service and seamless experience overall make this place my go-to place when I'm craving Indian food.
