Weslodge Saloon - Toronto

Unfortunately it wasn’t a great experience. The service was slow and we had to keep catching the attention of different servers as ours only came round once or twice. We ordered appetisers and they were not worth the price. We actually sent back the Miami Short Ribs as the portion was small, the ribs were dry and fatty and we expected more from an appetiser that is $21. I couldn’t recommend this place.

Service was fast, clean, and friendly. Food was amazing and cocktails absolutely perfect.

We were looking for a place to eat on King Street. It was raining and we decided not to go to the initial patio we had planned on. Westlodge was across the street and turned into a great evening! We got a quiet corner booth and were able to have a great conversation. The restaurant has implemented covid policies and the tables around us were closed off. This worked to our advantage and gave us loads of privacy. Loved it! The server was very patient and helpful. Westlodge has a wide variety of drinks. We ordered a decanter of one of their seasonal cocktails. It was elegantly presented and delicious! The food was good too. I would recommend the Waygu burger. I tried the fried chicken and it was okay. The burger is better in my opinion. Will come here again!

Great service even though it was only 50% full because of coronavirus.

Lovely spot for brunch with bottomless mimosas and sizable portions of food. Menu is a good balance of breakfast fare and lunch items. Servers are attentive with being overbearing. Food was tasty and well seasoned.
