No one. was rude, but there was nothing special. they were not busy in the did, so a little extra attention was certainly possible. the bill for the 8 of us was quite significant (we had divided it between me and my sibling) and I was in a hurry. I like to tap well, so, despite the average service, I tilted about 18% when I came home and reflected myself, I thought that the price simply doesn't make any sense. I looked at the bill more closely and realized that the congratulation was included. No one had told us that, and I missed it. partly my fault, but they should notify customers. lesbian, to type so much, especially for an experience that was best, usually.
Great menu, very varied, mostly Italian house, but I had a falafel burger with excellent riders. beautiful terrace, beautiful interieur.
Our table had a not so friendly server with the name sabine that we have found to be aggressive in their nature that set the ton for our culinary experience. she was helpful with suggestions. never a smile. if they had been lucky to sit where stewart served, it would have been a more beautiful experience for us. he was friendly and attentive and not aggressive! we ordered the mushroom calamari that was delish, the burrata that was ok, margharita pizza that was quite blande, the cäsar salat was regularly cäsar salat, the branzino that I did not order, but looked out ok (fish.) my family will not come back. I enjoyed the mushroom calamari and my cappuccino. absolutely delish! we ordered a bottle of wine to drink for the ladies that was chosen by our non-friendly waitress who at $70 a bottle like wow price it was neither mondavi nor malbec, but it was not worth $70. sabine should not be waitress when you are grumst and aggressive. it was a fun night with the family, but really not to appreciate the grumpy server.
We sat quickly on our table. we were not happy with our creepy server sabine when we sat. she was helpful with suggestions, but not a happy server at all. if they have had luck sitting there where stewart served them. will be satisfied with the service. he was friendly and attentive and not aggressive! we ordered the mushroom calamari that was delish, the burrata that was ok, margharita pizza, which was quite blande, the Caesar salad that was just ok, the branzino I did not order, but looked out (fish.) Having been regular satisfied customers of Paese for many years we visited on 18 September expecting more of the same but regrettably this was not to be and we were very very disappointed in both the food and abysmal service from our waiter, JoJo. We...had to wait for 45 minutes just to get water and have our drinks order taken! The food was very mediocre and without much taste. And we were unable to get the bill and had to ask the hostess to call our waiter after 2 and a half hours! We asked to speak to the manager to discuss our experience and concern but he apparently refused to talk to us. Unfortunately there are now 6 very unhappy customers who will never again visit Paese.
