Milestones Grill + Bar - Toronto - Festival Hall

Inconsisty is always problem with this chain but I always try my luck some time I get lucky some time don't. Today I am here with my nephew from Sweden and it's the worse since I started eating with them. First of all they didn't have full menu only burger and appetizer. We settled for that but when my Asian bite came it was not chicken bites but almost batter bites very tiny brunt. Never NEVER AGAIN. Don't waste your time and money.

We had dinner at Milestones before going to the theatre. When the waiter bought my glass of water, I noticed a dried on piece of vegetable on the outside of the water glass. Otherwise, the roasted garlic mushroom soup, portabello mushroom chicken and the sirloin steak were not disappointing. The steak was cooked perfectly. I would rated this restaurant alot higher if I didn't receive a dirty water glass. They need to pay attention to details.

It is a nice place to go. Service also is good. I ordered a seefood pasta and it was delicious. The only thing I don't like - the fork and knife were not clean. I needed to use my fabric napkin to clean them.

We came here after catching a show at the Princess of Wales theatre. It was a Tuesday night at around 10pm and we knew that it was getting near closing time. They sat us in the bar area as the restaurant area was closed. It was no problem at all however the tables were a bit uncomfortable for the older people in our group. It wasn't a big deal overall.The waiter was really friendly and fairly efficient consdering that it was a skeleton staff at that time of night. They had a good selection of drinks and they were all well made. We had several rounds and the waiter managed to keep up with our volume of orders. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food for that time of night. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The place is very well laid out with lots of nice fittings and furniture. We plan to come back here at a normal dining time next time.

Opposite of otger restaurants and pubs in John Street, near CN Tower. Food quality was good ad fair prices. Waiter was busy man. We had Shrimo Creole and Portobello Mushroom Chicken. Very good dishes, served on one plate. The meat was cooked very well, the surprising combo of spices and sauce made it very good.
