Piazzadei Mestieri - Torino

Terrible food and service. Unfriendly staff that were very disorganized. We waited a long time to have someone take our order when others that were seated later received their food. After asking multiple times, they only brought bread for one of us. We weren’t asked if we wanted anything else, such as dessert, and were ignored when we tried to ask for the check. It was like we were invisible! Horrible experience.

Very nice location, friendly, cool and never noisy even when fully booked. The staff knows what to say, what they have on the menu and are willing to explain in detail the beers’ “mood” and taste. You don’t have to wait a lot for the food to hop on. Very good selection of different plates, from the finger food to some choosy and tasty special one. Not that expensive and in line with the quality you get. Just a little bit more wording and “tales” on what you’re eating would let the five stars fall! Go there and enjoy you time… You’ll not regret!

We were saved by this place since other restaurants were apparently booked. We got a good feeling seeing the courtyard and stayed there instead of the upstairs restaurant. We took the beef steak and the guancia, both were good, even if the mashed potatoes seemed made with flakes as they were too mushy. The brewed beer was delicious. Good prices, fast and friendly service, all good.

Located inside a remodeled courtyard in the San Donato area, La Piazza features a good selection of craft beers and a good menu for a light dinner. The place is usually quite crowded by locals but has seating also outside, which is quiet and nice after a hot summer day. Both the selection of beers and entries are not excessive, yet the quality is outstanding especially the burgers. Must try if you're in the area or if you are looking for craft beers. The only thing I've found a little confusing is that they give you the beer menu but actually only those posted on the blackboard are being served... Hence don't waste your time reading the beer menu, just glance at the board.

Quando torno nella mia amata torino e borgo san donato dove sono nata amo radunare gli amici in questo amabile birrificio con ottime birre e atmosfera da torinese trapiantata a londra da vent anni direi che il birrifio la piazza e ' il mio local pub when I am back in turin, san donato borough, where I was born I love to meet my friends at this great brewery with interesting beers , great food and lovely atmosphere as torinese living in london for twenty years I am comfortable to say that Birrificio La Piazza is now my local pub ! enjoy. cheers ! ;
