Japs! Centrale - Torino

I spent a Wednesday night at Japs Yzakaya. The staff is very nice and attentive to all the customer needs. The menu offers a variety of sushi dishes, from basic nigiri and futomaki to temaki and tartares. The menu also has the Izakaya section offering various sets or single dishes of a typical Izakaya as takoyaki or matsunomi tataki and sunomomo. They menu also featured a variety of buns and gyoza. One interresting point: they have half protions for several dishes. I recommend it for spending a pleasant night enjoyng different bites of japanese food.

Japs! has couple of restaurants in Turin. The one in Via Carlo Alberto is small, but it has a nice outside terrace in the pedestrian area. The service is good: the English of the staff is good, staff is friendly and the pace is quite high. The menu is mainly sushi, there are no udon or ramen. The quality of the dishes and sushi are average at best. So the restaurant would be good if you feel like sushi and don't have much time. Otherwise I would look elsewhere.

The staff is kind ed the service is fast but really one of the worst shushis I’ve ever eaten. I will never go to any Japs again.

Great food I went their twice during a five day stay in Turin with my partner and they were always quick to serve us and on the second occasion gave us a good tote bag kindly. Although the desserts were not for me they seemed nice

We visited here for a fast lunch, whilst the idea and quirky design of the place appeals it is only let down by chaotic service maybe they were short staffed that day.........but we had to wait a longtime for a small lunch then remind the servers for a green tea(three times) which when it arrived was tepid at best.
