Wainfelin Chip Shop - Torfaen

I have lived in Pontypool for 12 years and this is by far the best chippy I know. The staff are so friendly, happy, and helpful. They even serve a foot long sausage that was perfect. I loved it so much that I will definitely be back for more. 100% recommended by Del Boy.

I had fish and chips for dinner tonight, and all I can say is that it was perfect. The chips were lovely, the batter was light and crispy, and the fish was tasty. Yum yum!

The temporary staff at this restaurant appeared to be incompetent. The chips were cold/lukewarm and the battered sausage looked unappetizing. The server seemed unaware of the poor quality of the food. Overall, the service was very poor. This was a takeout meal for dinner, with prices ranging from £1 to £10 per person. The food was rated 1 out of 5, service 3 out of 5, and atmosphere 3 out of 5.

This fantastic neighborhood fish and chip shop has friendly staff and serves fresh fish cooked to order. There may be a slight wait, but the delicious food is definitely worth it.
