Caspian Fish - Torfaen

One of the staff members was extremely rude to our group, making personal and political comments. It may be best for her to keep her thoughts and opinions to herself. She is not suitable for a customer-facing position.

Had a takeaway from here today. Fish chips and potato fritter. I recommend Caspian always tasty hot food generous portions and on time.

Went here for a Saturday lunch as most of the other places nearby were full. I ordered cheese and chips, expecting to receive melted cheese on chips, but it was just grated cheese. I may have misunderstood the menu, and will know to look for 'cheesy chips ' in future. The chips were OK, but nothing special and not great value. Lesson learned on this occasion, and I will bear it in mind for the future. The staff were polite and were clearly working hard.

I went to this restaurant with my partner and friend. It took 15 minutes for the table to be cleared from the previous customers. The server took our order from a menu that was very confusing. All the staff seemed more interested in chatting than working. The lukewarm drinks were brought out first, followed by the food. Unfortunately, all three orders were wrong and the food was almost inedible. The price of £26 for the quantity and quality of food was terrible. I will definitely not be returning and would recommend others to avoid it.
