Blaenavon Heritage Tea Rooms - Torfaen

The restaurant offers a great variety of teas and coffees. My husband enjoyed a delicious chocolate cake, while I couldn't help but notice how appetizing the breakfast ordered by the table next to us looked. The service was excellent and the staff was friendly.

Very good value food in a lovely setting with a great view. The staff are very welcoming and provide a fine choice of menu. Sunday lunches are amazing value.

I used to go here for lunch here regularly but due to my circumstances I have been unable to go for quite some time. Fortunately I was able to go for lunch on Bank Holiday Monday and was delighted that the meals were even better. I ordered a cheese, ham and egg salad with new potatoes and a baguette. The meal was better than most salads in top restaurants. My fiance had an all day breakfast which he also said was delicious.

They had a nice menu of hot/cold food, flap jacks, cakes, and sweets. I had a gingerbread latte and it was very tasty. My only complaint would be that when you walk up to the counter to place your order, to the right is where the dirty dishes are placed. Which is unfortunate because the rest of the cafe is very clean and spacious. Our outside table had a beautiful view of the historic cemetery and the old coal mines.

Stopped here for a drink. Service was brusque. Nice views over the heritage landscape. Basic menu. Prices reasonable
