St Marys Bakery - Torbay

Bakery with a cafe upstairs, food cooked to order and it wasn’t bad at all. Lovely staff. Reasonable prices. Breakfast ingredients not the best quality but for the price good enough. Well presented in a nice cafe room with a view for people watching.

Several tables downstairs and upstairs also. Varied foodstuffs are cooked to order and so are very fresh. Everything is good value for money and a good buy.

Always get a warm welcome here as the staff are very friendly. you order your food and drinks at the counter and then it is brought to your table.The food is always fresh and hot , with a good choice on the menu and good value for money.

My wife and I went here last week and purchased a pack of 4 hot cross buns alleged hot cross buns) for £1.60. What an absolute rip off we got 4 pure white bread buns with hardly any fruit, absolutely no spices and when we opened the bag they put them in the best before date was the day we purchased them. If you go to any supermarket you can buy 4-6 hot cross buns with 3 times as much fruit some spice and 3 or 4 days to eat them. i Would highly recommend you avoid this place What a rip-off.

Often pop in there to buy a sausage roll, bread and cakes and the service is a very friendly one, albeit the parking can be a bit tricky at times.
