Nepalese Gurkha - Torbay

My friend, who is a true food enthusiast, and I visited this restaurant for the first time. We had a wonderful experience choosing dishes from the menu and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The waitstaff was excellent, providing attentive service without being overbearing. I am certain we will return in the future. Overall rating: Food - 5, Service - 5, Atmosphere - 4. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £40–50.

I was extremely disappointed tonight when my husband had made a reservation for our anniversary celebration, but upon arriving at the restaurant, we were told there were no tables available due to a large number of walk-ins. The waitress appeared shocked as we waited near the entrance, and we ultimately decided to leave as it was very embarrassing in front of the other diners. It felt like we were somehow in the wrong for expecting to be seated despite having a reservation. Thank you for ruining our evening. Service: 1/5.
