Happy Chef - Torbay

We ordered a dish over an hour ago and were told it was on the way. However, an hour and a half later, it still hadn't arrived. We were disappointed as this delayed our family trip.

Normally have a delivery from here but as I was close by we called in for a takeaway... whilst we were waiting for our food the chef dropped a piece of chicken on the floor !! I was waiting to see if he threw it away ... But NO right in front of us watching he picked it up.off the floor and put it into wok and cooked it if they can do this infront of a customer what else goes on .. never use this place again ever !!!! ..

Great food at fair prices. Have used this takeaway for years and it’s one of the best. Even though I have now moved, I still drive there as it’s so good.

Had some food there tonight and we were sooo disappointed. Sweet and sour chicken and rice were congealed, the batter was thick uncooked dough. The chow mein was like plastic and the chicken and mushroom soup tasted like greasy water. Duck wasn't shredded.. Just skin and a bit of meat. Total waste of money. Avoid. Nice people tho....

Had a few takeaway's from Happy chef but this last one was just awful very greasy and tasteless ,what a shame won't be going back for a while.
