Queues of hungry workers were common. The banter was brilliant. It 's all changed now. The sausages and bacon are no longer freshly cooked, they are pulled from a container, luke warm. Because nothing is hot, the baps and bread are not warm either. I 've been 4 times since they took over to give them a chance but I won 't be going back. This 'was ' the best but is now mediocre at best.
Top notch, always friendly, looks after us on cold mornings with Tea and foot long baguettes!
Footlong breakfast baguette is recommended (you won't believe the price). Plus you get a free tea and coffee with every meal
The shop doesn't look very spectacular from the outside, but the sandwiches are amazing, you can make lots of special requests and Simon is super nice.
Served by a really friendly guy, the chips were freshly cooked and really nice- my colleagues agreed. Only £1.30 for a large portion that I couldn't finish on my own.
