Platinum International - TOOWOOMBA CITY

Rooms and communal areas are immaculate and very spacious. Reception staff were absolutely amazing, very friendly and professional and extremely helpful to allow me an early check in due to my schedule. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is located right across from a shopping centre and there are also multiple eateries in close vicinity so you won't be stuck for food options. Great hotel, in a great location. Probably worth noting there are additional costs for mini bar (including bottled water) but you're a stone's throw from a supermarket......

Booked a room for myself and husband on the 4/03/2024, on the official website for a $139, for the 12th of March.The young lady took my details and I asked her if she could send the confirmation to my Email address which she said she would do. I rang the Motel this morning just to let them know I had not received this. A man answered and I explained about the email not received and I was told his emails were not working. I asked him the price again to confirm that it was $139, as I have been caught once before from another motel. He said no it was $146, he said you will have to book through our website, I said that was the price on your website and on principal its a few dollars more but it should have been honoured.He said we don't get any extra money as it is a second party. We'll if that's the case after the 2nd party take out their fee you probably would have ended up with the fee the pleasant young woman agreed to. After reading a lot of the reviews on his rude dismissive manner it's no wonder he is still a desk clerk. That's not how you conduct a business by being like that. On reading the rest of the reviews and speaking to you I can see the other reviews are correct, and I feel for the owners of the Motel!

Had my booking cancelled via a very rude voicemail, as they don't take bookings for locals. When I phoned to seek clarification, I was spoken to rudely and made to feel like a criminal for wanting a night away. Sounds like I've dodged a bullet, having now booked at a classier establishment, not frequented by criminals.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at Platinum. The rooms were clean and a good size. The breakfast was nice, it was hot and had a good variety. Most of the staff were amazing especially Adam, he is so lovely and the absolute epitamy of what customer service should look like and he is a credit to your establishment, the young girl on the front desk on Saturday morning 24/2 is the exact opposite of Adam, when I asked her where the entrance was to breakfast she pointed to a door in a dark room and said over there where the door is wide open with attitude.and she couldn 't muster up a smile today when we checked out either, even after we waited in an empty reception area for 10 minutes for her to come and attend to us.

Was I impressed by Platinum!!! My story... I had car trouble travelling through Toowoomba on 01 02 2024. Iit was 8.30 pm. I needed a place to stay quickly. I telephoned and the staff were amazing. They had a room waiting when I arrived. As reception closes at 9 pm, they waited back until I arrived. Wow...service 5 star! So friendly and helpful. The bright attentive team of people who work there are marvellous. Nothing is out of their way to make my stay more enjoyable. Crispy clean blue pool, clean rooms, all amenities available in the room, or room serviced. Very luxurious shower and bathroom facilities and the largest king sized bed with heaps of pillows. All rooms have a balcony kn 1st floor, and those on ground level have a large private nook with tables and chairs. Huge car park with your vehicle at your door. Very secure system for locking the entry door, cameras are located around car park, oool and public areas. Shopping Centre across the road. Fuel close by! I thoroughly recommend platinum for a short or long stay. Thank you Noteworthy details: The outstanding staff.
