Kewanee One Stop - Toomsuba

I thank the Lord to have such a great sister (a dispatcher) who, along with her driver husband, own their own trucking business. After I struck out with finding a place to park, pulling a camper trailer, in Meridian; she scouted out and found this place for me. It's what she does all day long for her drivers (both sons too), so she's very experienced with checking traffic conditions and finding good truck stops. She told me on the phone as she was guiding me here that everyone was saying the food was really good. I thank those folks who took the time to share their thoughts about the One Stop. They weren't wrong; the food here is great! I ordered the Catfish Dinner with Tots and Potato Salad. They included a few Hush Puppies too. The fish was excellent. The potato salad was outstanding. The tots were cooked right. I loved my meal and have bookmarked this place for the next time I'm passing through. I don't want to miss another chance to eat here.

The customer service here is awful. I pre-ordered my food there on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. When I arrived the blond cashier was friendly and I moved to the side until she said my food was ready. I was in there nearly 30 minutes and the cook asked me have I gotten my food. I said she haven't called my name yet. Then the cook said your food is right here and haven't been checked by the cashier. I told her the cashier was busy digging into a cheese burger and trying to flirt with truck drivers for a tip. She became irate and said you won't be getting any food today. I said I don't want that cold **** anyway. It's not the 60's, and racism still exist in Kewanee, Mississippi.

Burgers are great, I have eaten there several times and have never been disappointed, best to call the order in if you're in a hurry

Great stop with an incredible burger! Everyone was nice and friendly, highly recommend

The home fries are awesome and the smoked chicken and ribs are my fave! They also have great burgers and breakfast.
