Seabelle - Tongaat

Went there for Xmas lunch. Was told that they don't have mushrooms. Not the first time that they could serve mushrooms with a dish. Was billed full menu price and when asked about deducting cost on bill it was ignored and handed me the pay point device. Review the menu please or amend your bills to what you have served. Absolutely disappointing. Staff unfriendly with a bad attitude. Taste of their food was very disappointing. Waiter does not write down your order. They simply don't care to make the customer comfortable. They really did not care how myself and my family felt. Service: Dine in Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

We watched a video that was recommended on YouTube and was eager to try Seabelles. The restaurant is so dirty and disorganised. Chairs and tables are sticky. Waiters touch cutlery and insides of food dishes with their bare hands. Food was absolutely disgusting. Prawn curry was watery and tasteless. Seafood platter was no better at all. And definitely the worst attempt at calamari ever. Samoosas were ice cold inside and looked like it was fried in old smelly oil. Fish cakes were tasteless. Please YouTubers, if you don’t know what good food is, don’t recommend places. It’s two hours later and I’m sitting with the such a bad tummy ache. I will never go back there. Location also dodgy.

Absolutely disappointed!!! Being told we aren't able to sit at a table for 10 with 6 of us but then sitting down 5 people on the table of 10 right after us...service was extremely terrible ...the lady brought a salad half way through our meal whilst on the phone showing complete disrespect to the customer...having to wait for attendance and ordering ...I order a extra pine twist and it never came....just Absolute bad service and bad attitude from the staff ...will never go back there again

It's kind of run down, not clean like a restaurant should be. Mutton curry was very ordinary. Crab curry was very mild even though we ordered extra hot. Prawn curry was excellent, so at least one of the 3 meals were good. If you're looking for an upmarket restaurant, this is not the place. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
