The Station House

I am not easily pleased. I expect quality, hot food. Just had a delicious family meal at the Clock House, Tonbridge in a lovely sunny garden. I had a fish stew, husband steak burger, kids macaroni cheese and veg. All loved it. Well done to the Clock House! Try it out! They even had a nice Goose Island IPA for me.

The food wasn’t at all great, overcooked cold. I think McDonald’s would of been a better experience rather than a dry burger and stale bun. Very unfriendly staff who didn’t seem to want to cater to make the experience nicer for us.

Went for a get together for a good old chin wag, could not hear yourself think let alone each other as so many kids running lose, slow service, once our food finally arrived it was warm and tasteless, the wine was not good and basically had to last us most of the time we were there as asked for another drink which never arrived, a place to definitely give a miss

Brought a bottle of Prosecco, took a mouthful and there was bits of floating cork in it. Half of the cork discovered in the bottle, spoke to the manager which sounded intoxicated and told me that unless I choked on it there was nothing that could be done about it. Awful customer service, don’t go here unless you want to drink tree bark. 0/10.

Not very welcoming due to rude lady on front of house asking for COVID passes in aggressive manner. Men’s toilets are also a total disgrace and smelt like they have not been cleaned all week flood or urine on the floor. Bar staff however was more friendly but first impression when you walk in makes you want to walk back out
