Przekaż informację zwrotnąI came to this restaurant with my parents, husband, and toddler for breakfast. We received a warm and friendly welcome and enjoyed a delicious cooked breakfast. It was excellent value for the price, and the staff were very attentive and accommodating. They were also great with my son. We will definitely be coming back and have already recommended it to others.
We have visited this restaurant a few times now for coffee and cake. The homemade cakes are excellent value for money, usually costing between £1-£1.50. My daughter had a large baguette, which was reasonably priced, and we also enjoyed the apple juice that is made on-site. While the restaurant has a staff cafe atmosphere, they are welcoming to all visitors and it's a great place to relax with family and friends. We would like to try their lunch menu sometime, but they stop serving lunch at 2 pm, which is earlier than we usually eat. My only critique is that the coffee should be served hotter, but I usually request it when ordering. The cafe closes at 4 pm, which is a bit early in my opinion, but we always enjoy our visits here and I highly recommend it for good food at great prices.
I was also seduced by the ad in the free magazine. Went there at approx. 2pm today.I did not find the ramp mentioned in other reveiws .Sat in chair at top of steps for ten minutes while a young lady walked out with rubbish bags and then walked back , ignoring me both times. I eventually gave up and left.
Used to live on the EMRS and grew up there so this place brings back fond memories lunch in the conservatory excellent home style food and good portions realistic prices very good
Upon entering, my first impressions were good. The cafe was flat and wheelchair friendly, except for the car park which was stony and hard work for manual chairs. The entrance had a ramp and the toilets were clean and there were plenty of them. We chose our meals from a limited selection, which included a main meal of Roast, a vegetarian meal, and jacket potatoes, as well as sandwiches, paninis, snacks, and cakes. There was also a salad bar available for an extra cost. We noticed there was plenty of choice for snacks and nibbles, all laid out nicely. We were unsure whether we were supposed to sit and then order, or go up and get our food, so we watched other people and saw that you were supposed to go up and fetch the meal and drinks before sitting down. We all ordered Jacket Potatoes, which were reasonably priced at about £4.25 for Cheese and beans. No salad was included, but you could pay an extra £1.00 for lettuce, tomato, and cucumber. The meals were served up and put on the tray, then we went and got our drinks. The only issue we had was that by the time our meals were served, our drinks were made, and we paid for everything, the food had already cooled down. The only fault we found was the temperature of the meal, although we didn't mention it at the time. We might think twice before going back. However, we did see the breakfast menu and prices and thought it could be worth a try. The inside of the cafe was lovely and clean. You helped yourself to cutlery, sauces, etc., and also cleared your own table. There was a trolley near the kitchen area where you could leave your trays and crockery. It's a nice place to go for a chat and a relaxing light lunch, or just coffee and cake. However, for a hot meal, we're not sure if we would go back again.
