Royal Oak Beefeater Grill

We were waiting at reception for a solid 10 mins. We decided to go sit down at an empty table because the restaurant was very empty so we didn’t see it as a problem. Another 10 mins go by and the manager tells us this table is booked every table in the restaurant. I then called the restaurant when we left and asked if they had any availability and they did…. Don’t waste your time here. The ginger manager is rude. very ego triggered

Regular customers here. Very good value for money and service good We go regularly and Stacey D is usually our waitress. Friendly and always remembers who we are. No complaints whatsoever, we’ll be back in a few weeks with our friends

I have dined at this restaurant several times as a local. The Surf N Turf was good, but the calamari was a bit lacking. The Butternut squash, spinach, and ricotta cannelloni was very tasty. The Sticky toffee pudding and chocolate brownie with extra chocolate sauce were just delightful. All dishes were served very hot and quickly. Our waitress, Sue, was excellent; she was happy in her work and very attentive without being overbearing. If only all waitresses were like Sue. We will definitely be returning again.
