After paying for your yogurt, as I was walking towards the door, a drip of yogurt was running down the side of my cup onto my finger and there was not a napkin in sight available to customers, so I licked my finger, you would think I just licked all their counters and tables the way this lady behaved and yelled at me. I’m a 45 year old grown up, idk who she thinks she is, but we’ll never go back there again! My step daughter got yelled at for getting too close to the toppings, because as nasty lady yelled, ‘they are NOT self-serve so don’t touch them’ as the poor kid was just observing her options. Needless to say, us, our 4 kids and their friends, our 2 brothers and their families and friends will no longer be visiting Yo Factor in Toms River. Our new place is the Freezing Point in Pt. Pleasant!! A little further, but SO worth the drive. After tasting their yogurt compared to Yo Factor’s, we didn’t even realize how bad the yogurt we were eating, that we thought was great, really was! Zero bitterness in Freezing Point’s frozen yogurt! Their facility, AND MACHINES, are by far the cleanest! Yo Factor may seem clean because they follow you around wiping up after you like nazis, but that tang in their yogurt tells that they don’t keep the inside of the machines as clean as they keep their toppings counter! Thank you rude lady, your atrocious attitude helped us find the most fresh and delicious yogurt in the area!
This is the cleanest do it yourself frozen yogurt place I have every been to. Delicious, lots of options, reasonably priced. Been here multiple times and will return.
Might have good dessert, but customer service 100% needs to be worked on. This was my second time coming in and let’s just say I’m never giving these people my money ever again. Extremely rude. A person I was with had messed up his yogurt, so we had assumed we would be able start over. It was an innocent assumption and the owner behind the counter handled the situation so poorly. Not only did he demand money straight away, but the attitude was absolutely disrespectful. Then, the person I was with finally diffused the situation and gave these money hungry people their money, the lady behind the register continued to be rude. He had his money all ready and told him he needed to “step aside” for my other friend to pay instead since, I guess, she was more valued. No matter the mistake, the customer is always right. I’m disgusted. It took all my might not to throw my food out and leave. It was very upsetting.
BEST fro yo and toppings in this location in years. Owners keep the shop immaculate. Very strict about no out of control sampling, no horsing around or derelict behavior.
I used to LOVE this place!!! I have so many pictures of my kids in here sitting on the couches that were in the back, they played cool music and had the best flavors and toppings I never had a bad experience, Until the store was taken over by new ownership. The new owners, the husband Rob isn’t bad at all actually but his wife! Oh lord!!! She is the reason people won’t be coming back. She is rude, if take a lick of your spoon to taste the yogurt apparently you are stealing from them lol. She hawk eyes everyone. I’m really upset that this is the only frozen yogurt place in Toms River. I wish the husband would make her work in the back or stay at home because after dealing with her I will not be coming back.
