Broadway Giant Bagels - Toms River

These are NOT Bagels. Just moved here to the bagel capital of the world and I got MUCH better bagels in FLORIDA. who’ d a thunk it?? They tasted just like regular bread. And definitely not worth the prices. Maybe the worst bagel we have ever had. Time to start exploring other Bagel shops for sure. If these are the “best bagels in Ocean county” I’m driving to Monmouth from now on.

I started coming here after moving to the area and at first it was good but on the weekends that’s a different story. I have now switched and drive the extra distance to silverton bagels because the staff is very rude on the weekends. Something all owners should think about, how you treat your customers makes a difference in when someone will remain a customer or not.

Excellent bagels, staff is friendly. I got the Heart Attack breakfast sandwich and it was probably one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have had in the area!

Starting with (3) stars because I have been trying to call the establishment but get an answering machine with a full mailbox. Wanted to know if the egg sandwiches were made with (1) or (2) eggs. I just left the deli and when I opened my sandwich at home, there was only (1) egg and I specifically asked for (2), which doesn’t make much of a sandwich. Would have preferred (2)

Have to edit my great bagels post. They were great and now it was explained to me that the reason that they are now less than half the size is that they were hand rolling them because their machine was broken and now they finally got the part. So sad they were close and had great bagels before. I guess it's back to Barron's.
