This restaurant is a really sweeter place to park sucks, although it is really small with just one exit. We found road parking for the luck. eating was really good, but I have to go with other reviewers I've read about the portions are very small. which didn't make me small portions, but the prizes were a bit high. it really added. the drinks were great about everything I recommend, but I say keep it with a few drinks because the bill can get steep.
Eating is good but honestly, the prices are a bit high and the portions small. 5 people to conquer and in average about 40 per person inclusive top. parking was a bit difficult, but this is probably everywhere on this opposite.
The mexican food at Cascabel is excellent! The atmosphere of this restaurant is very pleasant and it seems like a hidden gem off of the street. In the back they have a nice small waterfall wall which gives a relaxing ambience. We ordered the queso which was very good with the chips and salsa. The vegetarian enchilada was very tasty, and the sauce was delicious and a little sweet. The side of fried plantains came with an interesting dipping sauce which is worth a try. The beans were a little basic, but they were good quality. I would definitely recommend this place for a nice dinner out or even a good date idea!
THANK YOU, Cascabel, for the wonderful, welcoming service and great food! We loved our orders and you were so friendly and courteous: we were immediately greeted and warmly tended to, upon arrival (received warm hello's as we walked in). Your good service was timely: we had just come in, fresh from being rudely turned out at Ernie's Mexican Restaurant just a few blocks away (Please read my other review about Ernie's). Needless to say, your service was much-needed after the sting of being treated so terribly just moments prior at Ernie's. In contrast, Cascabel was a bit of a haven for us! Just a small note, though, that although plates are delicious (and in some cases, EXCEPTIONAL volumes are somewhat small and a bit pricey for what you get. Therefore, be prepared to spend a lot more if you're a little on the gluttonous side, like me! You won't exactly be getting more bang for your buck at Cascabel, but at least everything will be wonderfully delicious and beautifully appointed. And in spite of us closing down the house, staff never hinted on pushing us out or being inconvenienced. Thank you again for taking good care of us, Cascabel.
