Urhungry - Tollgate

What a shame. Food was good I had egg white omelet with onions, mushrooms and spinach and it was very good. But our waitress ruined the whole meal. Said she would be right back for our order and literally did not come over for over 20 minutes! When we got the food one of our group didn’t have their coffee. The waitress said she’d be right back again gone for 20 minutes. She was rude and obnoxious as well. Practically threw the food at us. It was almost comical. Of course couldn’t get the check from her either one of the most miserable servers I’ve ever had.

My husband and I went for breakfast today, the waitress was very rude, she was in a bad mood. Never smile. Threw the straws on the table. Her nail were sooo long like an inch. I thought that was against health department rules. who knows what is under those nails and she touches the food. The coffee cups are very old and the rim was very rough, the water PLASTIC cups had a white coat on the rim , How can they clean plastic?? NO, they cannot put those on the dishwasher for sure. While we were eating the a man cleaned the table next to us ,by dumping all the dirty dishes and left over food on a plastic recipient it was horrible , I almost threw up. NEVER again !! I will suggest that the owner buy new coffee cups and use glasses for the water . and new silver ware. Waitresses looked in total disarray. NOT a very nice place to eat at all.

The owner went out of his way to make us comfortable. He sent me home with an extra treat since I was having teeth issues. He wanted me to enjoy my bagel later.

Mitches is one if the Best Places in Weston, BROWARD County Florida. The food is fresh, service is Very Good and the owner accommodating! Highly recommended if you live here or visit!

In the past, I would have dined in Mitch's Deli but that has all changed due to the virus. Today, I pulled up to a parking space and placed my order for curbside pickup. Five minutes later, I had my order delivered to my car. Great service, great food!!
