Shorty's True American Roadhouse

This charming little BBQ spot offers a nice experience. The food was tasty, and the service was outstanding. While the pulled pork was a bit overcooked and lacked flavor, the ribs were delicious.

This was my second visit to the restaurant, and I have to say that the Pulled Pork Nachos are truly outstanding, as are the onion rings—the best I've ever had! However, the only thing preventing me from giving a five-star review is that the main courses and side dishes were served at room temperature.

The food was excellent, and the portions were surprisingly large. I highly recommend this place, as the service was great as well!

Amazing pulled pork salad and the corn bread muffins are always delicious. We drive from Ann Arbor to Shorty’s regularly for their great BBQ!

I had the pick two plate with brisket and pulled pork. This is my standard BBQ place order because it gives you a good idea of the place. I found the food very tender and the portions very generous. I had to take leftovers so I could have their infamous bread pudding. So tasty with yummy sauce, delicious bread pudding had great texture, and the ice cream was very creamy.
