Black Rock Grill - Toledo

Interesting atmosphere, people cooking at the table creates smoke in restaurant that could distract. service and eating were good.

I'll never go into the black rocks again. it took 45 minutes for 3 escapes and when it came out, everything was cold. they brought us a hot stone to reheat our own food. the waitress said eating had just come. they have taken money from our bill, but this should be a nice firm for my mother bday and we were very disappointed

The steak tasted as if it had been taken from a cold refrigerator.

The food was good. the staff was friendly and efficient. but 1. we waited another 20 minutes after we arrived there despite our priority sessions and did not get the high top position in my open table reservation. the hostess was unfriendly and acted oblivious that I had made this request. 2. it was so steamy from the squirting rocks that the floor was slippery, the air looked nebligly out, and I literally let meat boil there again. when we first went there, I loved it (before about 6 mo). this second time...not impressed.

Even after signing for priority seating we still waited the typical time as if we walked in to get seated. As for the restaurant experience the concept of cooking your own food was truly different. So you are practically buying your own ingredients and cooking it yourself but in a restaurant. It can be a safety issue especially when the table and floor starts to get so greasy. The knives provided wasn't even sharp to cut the most expensive cut if meat.
