The staff are English speaking, providing insight into the individual pieces of the cow and precisely how to cook it (time on each side). I suggest the beef tongue, sushi, scallops, shortribs, then one of the variety of special meats being offered (depending on how deep your pockets go). Itadakimasu!!
Slightly difficult to find, but Kobe Beef Ikuta will give you the dinung experience of your life. The beef selection is marvelous, glittered with the highest grade wagyu from Tajima. The flavor is otherworldly (provided you can grill it right). Staff were super helpful and spoke English. They even walk you to the road and made a proper goodbye.
One of the best meals I've ever had and probably my new number one restaurant. The meal was incredible. The meat was flavorful and unlike any I have had before. The place is small so a reservation might be best. When I called around noon there were no English speaking staff so knowing some Japanese helps but you could probably manage a reservation without it. The staff were friendly and knew enough English to explain things. The menu also has English and is easy to understand. I can't recommend this restaurant enough.
Absolutely amazing restaurant. Let 's start with what u want. The kobe beef is unreal. A5 grade, level 11 marbeling. Rare cuts because they buy the whole cow. Started with an appetizer of kobe beef spring roll and octopus with wasabi. Moved on to kobe beef sushi with a cube of soy sauce. Then the reason for coming: the Best platter of sirloin, tenderloin, and prime rib. Incredible and you grill it just how you want it. Paired mine with sake aged in a whiskey barrell. Restaurant is small and cozy on the inside with a modern vibe. Staff is incredibly friendly and willing to ecplain everything in English or Japanese
Needless to say that Kobe Beef is top notch here. Other noteworthy points the owner welcomed us as a walk in (we did not have a reservation), very welcoming of young children. Also enjoyed the interesting Sapporo beer on tap which went well with the meat. Highly recommend if you want to sample a decent set menu of Kobe Beef.
