Tokyo Gyoza

Really nice place fucked in a quiet but fancy shopping mall. Complete Japanese service and menu, but good value gyoza. I recommend this as an alternative to the more popular gyoza shops. Rammen also sells inter alia.

While this isn’t the most authentic and/or renowned restaurant for gyoza, you’ll certainly find umami (and English menus) here. The setup is akin to a fast food restaurant but the food is fresh! We had A hearty meal of delicious pork dumplings (you can order them boiled, pan fried, deep fried or in a miso broth) and chicken ramen. You can dip or drench your dumplings in chilli oil, soy sauce or vinegar. If you’re looking for a fully belly and fast before catching a train across the road in Tokyo Station this is your place.

Very good gyoza. It is a casual place that offers good gyoza value for money. I ordered a dinner set of a dozen gyoza. It came with a light soup, bowl of rice, and a refreshing bowl of cut cucumbers with a sweet sesame dressing. If you are in the area (walking distance from Ginza/Tokyo Station/Yurakucho I would recommend stopping by for some affordable gyoza.

To eat Gyoza, an exquisite work of art from Japan, is an experience that you will never forget. The flavor and taste of the gyozas will inspire your taste buds. Both the softness of the gyozas and the crispy skin make a good match the three sides all together taste immaculate. They are similar to pot stickers but at a whole new level. After they have been cooked, it is the best to eat it straight away while it is still hot. However you don’t just eat it as it is, you dip it in sauce that they provide in the restaurants, sometimes they create their own sauce for you to dip in, sometimes it might just be classic soy sauce. Gyozas are always served on an oval shaped plate no matter where in the world you are. Overall, I think gyozas are spectacular and I definitely recommend it to everyone out there.
