I was in heaven. the atmosphere with dimming light, the waterfall and the semi-private seating make it as if it were crazy expensive, but the price is really affordable for everyone. the place is a bit far from the railway station and hard to find (google maps does not show the right route) and I wish those desserts were vegan (the tofu cheesecake actually has cheese / milk in it. Why, japan?
I love the dark lighting and the sound of the waterfall made it a very peaceful and cozy atmosphere. my favorite dishes contained yuba (Tofu-Haut,) and I loved the Tofu-Dango and Yuzu cocktail. the waitresses were very helpful in checking whether individual dishes were vegan. the menu can be hard to read as it contains many kandji. also contain the desserts milk so that I unfortunately did not dessert (although I wanted to try the Tofu cheesecake
A group of vegan and non-vegan enjoyed a lot of extraordinary directed. the menu was limited (which are difficult times,) but at the end I could choose some vegan options. Normally, the menu has clearly marked veg options both in Japanese and English. as with previous reviews, they ask whether they are completely vegan or whether they could be made vegan, this could best be demanded in advance to avoid disappointment. avocado tofu is not what you would expect!
Really nice and many vegan options. the fresh tofu and sesame tofu, where amazing! some of the workers speak English and the menu is in English. they need to ask what is vegan because the menu does not say. be ready when they show them because it goes fast and the menu on many pages.
Great for the foodie on a date night but small portions and a tad bit expensive. I enjoyed the meal, but I have no need to come back.
