Coco Ichibanya Gyoenmae - Tokyo

Like other Coco Ichibanya restaurants, the vegetarian menu (on which all are vegan) was easily identifiable. I have the soy meat vegetarian curry with spinach and mushrooms. The portions are generous. Especially this branch was not so busy and had a nice atmosphere (I went at 8am). The service was fast and had no problems with my food. I would recommend Coco Ichibanya usually for vegans looking for a filling cheap meal. This industry is no exception to this recommendation. Updated by previous rating on 2022-06-04

This is such a beautiful branch of Coco. It is somehow hidden from the park, so the store is quiet, airy and big. The staff is nice. This is one of the coke branches that has a large vegan menu (approximately 6 curries I think and 2-3 inadvertently vegan secondary dishes), so there is always enough to select from the menu. The Soy-Fleisch-Schnipsel can be ordered as a supplement, but in recent months it has become smaller.

This restaurant is similar to Subway but for curry. You get to choose your rice, spice level, and sauce (only the vegetarian sauce is vegan), and then add toppings. You order everything on a tablet that can be switched to English. They no longer offer soy meat, but the vegetables are still very delicious. The service is fast and friendly!

You place your order on tablets at the table, allowing you to see exactly which dishes are made with vegetarian sauce. You'll need to look for the green words indicating vegetarian options and scroll through the menu since there are only three topping choices: spinach, seafood, or egg. It's important to note that just because a dish is labeled as "vegetarian," it may still contain animal products, so be sure to look for the green words indicating that it is free from animal ingredients. However, you can customize your meal with a variety of vegetable options to create a satisfying and filling dish. The service is excellent as well. I highly recommend this restaurant!
