Went with Hubby as a last-minute decision on our recent trip down to visit family and just had to take my Mom and Sister the next time I came down. Just might be my go-to restaurant in Lafayette! Crab Fingers are a must have appetizer! Oh and be sure to grab you a pint of herb dip to go!
Very good food. Staff is friendly and very professional. I recommend the redfish extravaganza. And don’t forget to say hi to the mascots, three adorable baby raccoons. I will post a picture of the food and then a photo of the baby raccoons.
It's a little pricey, but oh, so good. The evening was spent with family, so that made it even better.
I love this place! I grew up in Youngsville/Broussard area and ate at the old Jerry’s loved it then and even more now! We live in Bossier Parish now for the last 38 years! My wife is from Franklin and every time we go down home we make an effort to get to Poor Boys Restraunt! Why you ask? We love it the most! Food is always outstanding and the service is the friendliest anywhere! We know we are back home as soon as we step in the door! The stuffed flounder is as good as it gets the crab platter and shrimp platters are both just beyond great! And that fresh baked bread is addictive! Go once and you will go back! We can’t wait to get back down and Trey ourselves to eat there again!
