Miguels food is good but he was very put out and awkward when dealing with a lone gringa (myself) having breakfast on her own. This happened many times..... He wouldn't look me in the eye or smile. I noticed he was a completely different person...when I was with a group of ladies who came in to dine in the evening. Go figure??????
We stopped here for a bite after arriving in Pescadero. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was adorable. You cannot beat an open air restaurant with authentic Mexican on the streets of Todos Santos!
We went to Miguel’s after reading about the good reviews for their Chile Rellenos. We were a group of four, and I was disappointed with my order of Fish Chile Rellenos. But another person in the group had Shrimp Chile Rellenos, and he was very...happy with them. The Chile Rellenos were pretty large in both orders. We had two types of Margaritas, and did not feel they were any exceptional. But the Chicken Tortilla soup was great. The restaurant is more like a covered patio, and all the furniture has a nice unfinished wood texture. A novelty decoration here is a long display of actual monetary notes from various countries posted along the walls. I recommend a visit to Miguel’s for their Soup and their Chile Rellenos except for the fish ones. It is a pretty special place.
This is a small local place with a grass roof and surfboards all around. Miguel greets you personally. He's a lovely guy and very personable. The food is fantastic. Try the chile relleno of the day. We had scallops and shrimp and it was amazing....The corn chips and salsa that you get with your meal are authentic and very fresh. We went there twice in two weeks.
